The Acura TL control arms are an important component in the suspension system of your vehicle, helping to add stability and control as you travel. TheAcura TL control arms system adds flexibility to your vehicle, allowing it to compensate for bumps and uneven road surfaces safely. The Acura TL control arms assists in providing this flexibility, working with other suspension parts to allow each wheel the ability to adjust independently to the surface of the road, allowing all four wheels to remain firmly in contact with the pavement.
Proper alignment of the front-end components is assisted by the Acura TL control arms ,helping to keep the front end tight and the steering agile and accurate. The AcuraTL control arms works with the vehicle suspension to insulate the vehicle from the vibration of the road and the impact of bumps and pot holes, absorbing much of the force before it is carried through to the body of the Acura TL to cause damage.
There is an upper and lower control arms at each vehicle wheel, each equipped with rubber bushings at the pivot points. These control arms bushings help in the absorption of shock and vibration as well as preventing friction damage as the control arms moves against other suspension components. These control arms bushings can become cracked and brittle from exposure to the elements and road salt, or simply wear away over time, leaving the Acura TL control arms vulnerable to damage.
There is also a different design of control arms that is usually used as a rear control arm. This design features either a joint on one end and a bushing at the other end of a metal or aluminum bar, a two bushing bar or a bushing and an attachment. There are front and rear control arms that are either upper or lower mounted and come with or without the ball joint as a complete unit, depending on the model of our vehicle.
