In theory, when you lower your car, you also lower the center of gravity therefore reducing body roll, thus improving its handling. However, handling characteristic of the car are not only determined by the center of gravity. You also have to consider the dampening system, spring rate, condition of the road, side walls of your tires, unsprung weight, and tire grip. The BlackWorks SS Coilover kit is a combination of a coil spring and shock absorber preassembled and matched to give your car the best in performance handling.

 The New SS Coilover Kit features a wide range of height adjustments without changing the spring compression and sacrificing the shock stroke. A Traditional Coilover kit requires the movement of the spring perch to determine the ride height, causing a reduction in suspension travel and induce coil spring binding. The bottom shock fork / connector of the Coilover is threaded to allow height adjustments to each drivers need without having to shorten the suspension travel by maintaining the original spring perch location. With this function, each driver can lower the center of gravity to achieve better handling, without sacrificing ride quality.  

The SS Coilover Kit Provides the height adjustable, damping force, not adjustable suspension. The SS Coilover Kit comes with alloy forged aluminum correspondent with anodized finish brackets, spring seats and upper mounts (Some of BWR suspension kit comes with upper mounts but some are not.).
